Cuando ello ocurre, se dice\n                      que la marea est\u00e1 en fase porque los abultamientos lunar y solar coinciden y las amplitudes se superponen. Esta es la \u2018marea viva\u2019. Una semana despu\u00e9s del alineamiento, el Sol y la Luna se encuentran en direcciones perpendiculares\n                      con respecto a la Tierra, los abultamientos est\u00e1n completamente fuera de fase y las amplitudes correspondientes se contraponen. La amplitud de la marea es m\u00ednima en esta situaci\u00f3n y por ello se le denomina \u2018marea muerta\u2019.<\/p>\n                  <\/div>\n                <\/div>\n              <\/div>\n
